I was raised on a farm in rural Ontario with no neighbours in walking distance other than my grandparents. Everyday after school I would follow the two of them around “helping” with their projects and learning what I could from them. When I was in middle school my grandmother gave me my first camera, her old film point and shoot. I would shoot with that camera until there were no more rolls of film to use. My time with them is one of the things I am most thankful for. It gave me a lifelong love of classical ways of doing things and anything that inspires nostalgia.
Today I strive to inject that love of nostalgia into all my work. Creating timeless images with neutral tones that give the feeling of something tried and true that has been well worn in.
I have been extremely lucky to be able to make my living doing something I love and am grateful to have been able to work with incredible teams to make images for clients like Honda, Canada Blood Services, Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, WorkSafe BC, Andrew Peller Wines, Vancouver Science World, The West Vancouver Police Department and many more.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my work and please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or are interested in working together.
